It was pomp and splendor as Hon. Oscar Wanje, the Ganda Ward Member of County Assembly (MCA) became the very first MCA within Kikifi County to implement education support program by issuing county ward bursaries to over 600 students from all over Ganda Ward.
The exercise came about at the Ganda ward main office of the MCA in Kijiwetanga with effectiveness displayed in bursary cheque issuing to the ravished beneficiaries.
Guided by integrity, accountability and transparency the beloved MCA outlaid about ksh. 4,850,000 million in ensuring that students get helped in accessing school and remain in school regardless of the hard economic times their caregivers face.
Many of Ganda ward citizens have displayed hope of a turnaround of education fortune and other developmental projects and programs that are yet to happen, attributing all gratitude and hope to Hon. Oscar Wanje for his robust vision, and his tireless efforts to transform Ganda ward
Oscar Wanje, the young maverick leader recently championed for education support of a young, bright Ruwa Moses Kilimo from Mere Sub-location by providing some shopping for basic amenities as well as transport to school after receiving an educational scholarship from Family Bank.
Equally important, Hon. Oscar Wanje made sure 15 students reported and continue schooling through several scholarships assisted by his office, showing how immense his passion is towards education for the people of Ganda ward

As he always puts it, his eye is more often at the focal point of restoring hope and securing the future of the young generation through access to quality education, for he frankly believes it is the only way to liberate an unfortunate community.
Additionally, the real-time Ganda ward support system, Oscar Wanje assured his people that through county Government of Kilifi County, he will ensure that no kids hover around for missing school fees. This will be effective with effective implementation of the Kilifi County governor H.E Gedion Mung’aro’s vision of increasing bursary endowment
foundation from 350 million to 1 billion.
Hon. Oscar Wanje also is keen to ensure proper follow up on the full scholarship students performance in school to ensure consistency in good grades and eventually a great future after academic excellence which is one of his greatest desires.
