Christmas holidays is one of those holidays that families gather together and share joyful moments, meals and other goodies.
It is a season of giving, receiving and sharing the much or little we have, but what happens to those who don’t have anything to give, share or even receive from loved ones?
When the pandemic struck, so many families became financially impoverished and it became difficult to not only engage in charity work but also to some extent fend for their own needs.
Luckily, Amongst us are Angels and souls sent from heaven whom in their hearts will always have space for others.
Oscar Wanje well known as Chuma cha maendeleo participated in one of the biggest community services this holidays that the whole of Malindi Subcounty has seen. He worked hard to try and put a smile in every corner of Ganda ward where he hails from, to bring cheer and Joy in households that barely knew who would quench their Christmas spirit.
With the aim of giving back to the society and the less fortunate using the little he could manage, Hon Oscar distributed 500kgs of Long Grain biriani Rice and 250 Litres of pure refined cooking oil to all the sub Locations in Ganda.
“It is more blessed to give, than to receive ”
